Stop & Shop: Free Milk
Stop & Shop has a deal this week for instant savings up to $4 for a gallon of milk when you purchase 4 of certain General Mills items. I found this deal posted with the milk & cereal bars.
Make sure the milk gets deducted when you check out. It is supposed to be an instant savings, not a coupon printed at checkout for a free gallon of milk.
My milk did not deduct from my total order and I had to go to the courtesy desk to get the money back.

Chock Full O'Nuts - $1.00 At Stop & Shop
I was very excited and hopeful for a sale when I saw the $75 off Chock Full O'Nuts coffee in the 5/13/12 SS flyer. My coffee stockpile is getting low and I am happy to see that Chock Full is on sale for $2.50 at Stop & Shop this week making it just $1 a can after coupon.

My Deals Today
I haven't been able to get out this week. My husband ruptured his achilles tendon and just had surgery yesterday. I took the day off today to tend to him and one thing I had to do was fill a prescription so what else is a couponer to do while waiting for a prescription to get filled than score some deals. I hit Walgreens and Stop & Shop while waiting and found the following deals:
Walgreens has Puffs tissues on sale for $.99 with in-ad coupon. The coupon says limit 3 but if you purchase 6, they will all ring up for $.99 after the coupon is scanned. You can stack this with the P&G 1/1/12 coupon for $1 off 6 Puffs singles. The Zone bars are on sale for $.99 each. I had a Walgreen's $3 off a $10 purchase good only at the brand new Route 44/Dutchess Turnpike, Poughkeepsie store so that brought my order down to just $7.24 (Saved $10.15)
Stop & Shop has the Planter's peanut butter on sale for $2.79. There is a $1.50 off 2 here. This is not the greatest deal after coupon but I was just so curious about this peanut butter and how it tastes I just had to buy it. The LOL 1/2 & 1/2 is $2.99 each and I had coupons for $.75 of each. The Nabisco 100 calorie packs are on sale for $1.99. There is a $3 off 3 Nabisco products (I can't remember which flyer it was in) and my "Coupon Companion Lori" had hooked me up with a tear pad coupon for $1 off produce with the purchase of 2 Nabisco or Snackwell products. The bread was on sale for $1.99 (eh, okay) and I used my "Free milk" coupon that I had from my previous General Mills cereal deal. Total OOP $17.39 (saved $21.37).
My goal is to always walk out saving a minimum of 50% off the retail after coupons and sales.

My $1.21 Shopping Trip At Stop & Shop
I posted this trip to Stop & Shop yesterday.
I had a $2 Catalina and a "Free Milk" Catalina from that trip.
I had $.75 off coupons for the cereals and $.50 off coupons for the lunchables.
The lunchables are on sale 10/$10.
After coupons, sales, instant savings and Catalinas, I paid $1.21 and received another Catalina for "Free Milk".
I had a $2 Catalina and a "Free Milk" Catalina from that trip.
I had $.75 off coupons for the cereals and $.50 off coupons for the lunchables.
The lunchables are on sale 10/$10.
After coupons, sales, instant savings and Catalinas, I paid $1.21 and received another Catalina for "Free Milk".

My Stop & Shop Trip Today
Got some great deals at Stop & Shop today.
I did not have coupons for all the items but did get deals on them.
The Danactive was on sale 2/$5 and if you bought 5 you received a free dozen of S&S eggs (value $2.79). I haven't seen a Danactive coupon probably in about a year so this is the best I could do on deal for that.
The Entenmann's are on sale BOGOF (no coupon).
The MultiGrain Cheerios were $3.59 each.
$1.65 was deducted immediately after ringing the 4 boxes.
I used (4) $.75 off coupons (printables) (printables)
I received $4 instant savings at checkout for purchasing 4 of them.
I also received a Catalina for a free gallon of milk (value up to $4.50)
After coupons and instant savings, the cereal is $.68/box (but actually free if you take into account you don't need to pay for your next gallon of milk)
The Chex Mix is on sale 2/$4.
I used (4) $.60 off coupons (printables)
I received a $2 off Catalina for my next visit.
That makes the Chex Mix just $.30 each after sale,coupon & Catalina.
The Carefree are on sale for $1.65.
I used (4) $.50 off coupons
Paid $.65 each.
LRWC posted that there was a $3 instant savings on the purchase of 4 of these.
My local S&S is giving gas points rather than the instant savings.

They are on sale for $2 each. You can find a $1 off coupon here. Grab as many computers as you can to print this coupon (you should be able to print 2 per computer). If you buy 6 of these Healthy Choice Steamers, you get $5 instantly off your order (you must buy 6). The more coupons you print the cheaper you can get these Steamers. I had 4 of the $1 off coupon so I paid just $2.95 for 6 Steamers after my $.05 reusable bag credit. That is just $.50 each!!

**UPDATED** A Note About Stop & Shop
Just a little something to keep in mind when deciding which Stop & Shop store to shop at for certain deals (if you have more than one to choose from in your area).
If your Stop & Shop has a gas station, those stores have been giving points for gas in place of "instant off money" deals. For instance, there is a deal in their flyer this week that if you buy 3 Hallmark cards you get $5 off your shopping trip instantly. You will not receive that $5 off but rather you will receive gas points which will print out at the register and be loaded to your card for cents off per gallon at their participating gas stations.
I have had this happen twice now at the Stop & Shop in 44 Plaza Poughkeepsie (which has a gas station) but it did not happen for a friend of mine at the Hyde Park and Rhinebeck stores (which do not have gas stations).
******* UPDATE: Cynthia confirmed that she did the Hallmark deal at the Wappingers Falls store and did receive the instant savings at that store *******
