On February 1st, my local Poughkeepsie Journal Sunday edition is going to be $3 per paper (up from $1.75 per paper). That is a huge jump. Home delivery of the Sunday paper is just $1 a paper.
I currently get 1 paper delivered to my home and usually run out to the local store for additional papers. Now the ideal amount of inserts to have is 4 of each since most stores have a limit of 4 it allows you to take full advantage of their sale.
With the 1st of February looming, I was unhappy that it was going to cost me a whole heck of a lot more money for the extra papers so I decided to call the Poughkeepsie Journal and ask them if it was possible for them to change my subscription and deliver 4 Sunday papers to my home at a price of $1 per paper. WOO HOO!!! They did it. I am so excited. Now I don't have to even run out for the extra papers.
