Every year since 1992 there is this wonderful man named John Flowers who collects new and gently used stuffed animals and along with volunteers wraps them up and delivers them to hospitals, nursing homes and the Children's Home in Poughkeepsie.
You can be a part of this. Just drop off your new or gently used stuffed animals that your children no longer play with to Mardi-Bob's Hoe Bowl on Taft Avenue in Poughkeepsie. The wrapping of the stuffed animals will take place on Thursday, December 9th and 16th so get them there soon.
