I wanted to take the time to make a comment on the new way Rite-Aid is handling the +UP Rewards that you earn.
The +UPRs are now put on your Wellness Card and available to be used the next day so you can no longer roll them into another transaction immediately.
You may not know this but you do have the option to change back over to paper rewards so that you have to manually hand the +UPR to the cashier to deduct it from your transaction. I had the cashier change mine back over to paper my last visit and this is why:
If you shop at Rite-Aid and you have +UPRs loaded on your card. Once you scan your card, the first thing the system does is reduce your bill automatically with your +UPRs that are on your card. This is not good if you have coupons because it may bring your balance down too low and you won't be able to use the coupons. The only way around this is to have the cashier ring your items, then take off your coupons, then scan your Wellness card. I don't like this because I like to see the sale prices ring up as the item is being rung and that won't happen if the Wellness card was not scanned first.
My advice is if you coupon frequently at Rite-Aid and usually walk out of there for next to nothing when you do. Change your +UPRs back over to paper so you can manually hand them to the cashier like you used to with your coupons and save the ones you don't use for the next visit. This way you can also pick and choose which ones you want to use.
