Save Money / Recycle

Reader John shared:

I print my coupons on the clean backs of all that junk mail we get. It saves buying paper and a $uper way to recycle.

What a great way to recycle all that paper.  I am going to start doing that.

Thanks John

When I came home yesterday, my daughter met me at the door all excited "Mom, have I got a deal for you to post on your blog!" She had gone to the mall with a friend and her own money in her pocket (she is 11) and found a pair of yoga pants in Abercrombie on the clearance table.  They retailed for $34 then they were marked down to $19.90 then to $9.90 and now they were on the clearance table for 40% off making them just $5.94.  That's a savings of over 80% so I just had to share this information and picture for her.

This just goes to show you that kids do learn from watching you so don't feel bad the next time you are in a store and they ask for something and you tell them "No, I don't have a coupon for that" because they are truly learning something from you.  They will learn in no time from you that "YOU SHOULD NEVER PAY FULL PRICE".

Daughter's Share

My 11 year old daughter is very excited about her shopping deals today.  Her current favorite stores are Hollister and Abercrombie & Fitch.
Before making our trip to the mall today, she went onto the app GeoQpons and searched for coupons for both stores.  In doing so she found out that both stores had 40%-50% off the entire store (no coupon needed).

She wanted to share her deals:

Abercrombie & Fitch:

1 pair of skinny jeans
Retail $78
On sale for $39

Hollister:

Blouse
Retail $49.50
On sale for $24.75

Skinny Jeans
Retail $39.50
On sale for $19.75

What she was most excited about is that she paid nothing OOP because gift cards from Christmas paid for it all and she still had some money left over on the gift cards.

Showing Off Her Marcal Stockpile

Reader and fellow couponaholic Lori shows off her Marcal stockpile she purchased today at ShopRite.  Each was just $.34.  Total $5.78 plus tax

Keep in mind that ShopRite has a "4 like coupons per person per day" policy.  This stockpile takes a few trips in and out of the store.  Lori enlisted her son to cut her trips in 1/2 to build this stash.

Hey all, just a quick heads up on Redplum.com (Doreen definitely add to your website!) I was snooping around with different zip codes and put in 75210...up came $.75/1 Best Life Butter spread, $1.00 off Smart Balance milk or butter, and $50/1 ruffies trash bags.  Hm...have we even seen ruffies in a year??  Ok heads up my friends.  Get them while they are still on there. :)

Also if you didn't go to HomeSolutions...there's a whole list of coupons ready to print at the moment.

Happy Couponing!
Jenn

THANKS JENN!
