Save 53% On An Ebay Gift Card (Groupon Deal)

Have you heard of Groupon?  Well, it is all over the internet and the television but I had not made the dive into it until today.  I received an email from Ebay that I could purchase a $15 Ebay gift card for $7.  Below is the link to the deal if you want to check it out.

I believe this is the way it works.  A deal gets posted and it is available for a certain amount of time.  I thought the business put the deal out there with the intention to sell a certain amount of their item and if that number is met, then the deal happens.  I'm not really finding this on their site  I never spent much time looking into their deals because most of them are for businesses in big cities like New York City.  This Ebay one is attainable for me so I figured why not start Grouponing.  If anyone has better details on how Groupon works, please post a comment.
