I Made Money at Walmart Today!

That's right, you read it correctly, I made money at Walmart today.  Thanks to a heads up from my friend Lori who got this great information from Diane (Thanks Coupon Divas).

Walmart's new coupon policy allows you to receive overage on your coupons.  That can be in the form of cash if your balance is a negative at the end.

This is how I was paid.16 cents for what I purchased today.

There was a $5 off any Similac coupon in the 4/3/11 SS insert.  Walmart sells the Similac formula for sensitive tummies for $3.84.  I had 5 of the $5 coupons so I made $1.16 on each bottle that I bought.  I also had Walmart price match the Heinz to ShopRite's price of $1.88 this week (by the way, Walmart's regular price on this is $1.98) and I purchased the hot dog buns.  My grand total was cash back of $.16 - WOO HOO! 

I will donate the Similac.
